ARTIST'S STATEMENT

"I regard myself as a figurative/abstract figurative landscape artist

working mainly in oil but while also taking great interest in drawing as a

means in itself.  In landscapes I tend to be drawn to the motifs which are quite bare

 and have a sense of solitude, making heavy use of the sky, line
