                               West Surrey College of Art and Design, Farnham, Surrey

                               Richmond-upon-Thames College, Twickenham, London

 

Exhibited:  Lejon Gallery, Malmo, Sweden 1980-82

                  Binfield Gallery, Binfield, Berkshire 1994-98

                  Minstrel Gallery, Bridport, Dorset 1995-96,

                  and Various Openings including Bridport 1996-2000

ARTIST'S STATEMENT

"I regard myself as a figurative/abstract figurative landscape artist

working mainly in oil but while also taking great interest in drawing as a

means in itself.  In landscapes I tend to be drawn to the motifs which are quite bare

 and have a sense of solitude, making heavy use of the sky, line

and spatial elements to create a mood of reflection and contemplation."
